Title: Development Officer

To deliver a set of targets for new product development, product improvement, value creation, and sales/plant support with set guidelines from the Line Manager.
Implement the HSES plan as set by Technical Lead
Propose ideas for laboratory work involving new product development, product improvement, value creation, processes & procedure improvement, etc.
Plan experimental designs for problem analysis or prove hypothesis in relation to product complaint or manufacturing process improvement.
Plan and carry out laboratory work covering a range of technical projects in full compliance with all safety and work processes and procedures.
Provide technical support to other internal functions such as procurement, plant Operations, and Sales.
Manage the formulations in SAP
2 to 5 years of experience purely in the R&D department in the Paints Industry
Has an understanding of the role of raw materials in recipe development & modification. Testing results are reliable, reproducible, and unchallengeable by internal and external customers & suppliers. The job holder meets KPIs for testing.
Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant SAP modules works effectively with co-workers and peers as a team player. Helps out colleagues in solving their problems.
Must have knowledge of applicable HSE procedures, and adheres to these procedures.
Masters or BS in Chemistry from a reputed institute
